Subjects Taught

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with reading and history as my focus areas.

I have been teaching at Pleasant Hill for eleven years.  I have eight years of experience teaching third grade and three years teaching kindergarten.

Hi! My name is Mrs. Megan Stotts and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher! We are going to have a fun year learning lots of new things. I can’t wait to get to know each and every one of you, but first I am going to tell you a few things about me.

I grew up in Olive Branch and attended DeSoto County Schools until college. When I graduated from Olive Branch High School, I moved to Oxford to attend the University of Mississippi. (Go Rebels, Go!!) I majored in Elementary Education with reading and history as my focus areas. I student taught in fourth grade here at P.H.E.S. and discovered firsthand how wonderful and special our school is. I taught third grade for eight years, and this will be my fourth year teaching Kindergarten! I know it is going to be a blast!

Mr. Bryan Stotts and I have been married for eleven years, and we have a sweet little boy named Beckett and a precious little girl named Blair. Beckett is six years old (seven years old in December!) and will be starting First Grade this year! Blair is two years old. She will celebrate her third birthday in February.

This year is going to be full of excitement, and I’m so glad we get to share it together! Don’t be nervous…we are going to have TONS of FUN! I am looking forward to an AWESOME year!
