Education and Experience: The 2022-2023 school year will be my 12th year as an educator! I have taught a variety of grades in Desoto County, but first grade is my FAVORITE! I have a bachelors of elementary education and a masters in educational leadership.
Personal Info: I am from Spencer, TN. It is an itty bitty town in middle Tennessee! My husband and I met at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. He is a teacher as well, so we are a family of educators. We have 1 son, Cooper, who is 5 years old. He is a rambunctious and smart boy who keeps us on our toes. He will be in Kindergarten this year at PHES! We have 1 dog and 2 cats. We've spent a lot of our summer swimming and visiting with family. My favorite subject to teach is math because it is so hands-on! I also love sharing books with my students. I can't wait to dive into some great books, and hopefully make my students fall in love with reading!
