About the teacher 

 A LITTLE ABOUT MRS. MALIN...

Education: I graduated from Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia, Mississippi. After graduating high school, I attended Northwest Community College for one year.  I then attended Mississippi State University and received my degree in Elementary Education.

Experience: This will be my 19th year teaching! After graduating from Mississippi State University, I began teaching at Strayhorn Elementary in Tate County. In 2012, I decided to make a change to Desoto County, where I served as a 3rd grade teacher at Southaven Intermediate School. This is my second year at Pleasant Hill Elementary School. I'm so happy to be here. Proud to be a member of the #PHES team!

I currently live in Hernando with my husband, Stephen, and our 2 English Bulldogs, Rebel and Rupert. I enjoy teaching, kickboxing, shopping, and going to the beach!  My husband and I love all sports, but we are a house divided....HAIL STATE!
