About the Teacher

Education

I graduated from Olive Branch High School in 2004.  Attended the University of Mississippi and graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.  I then completed my teaching certification in Special Education Pre - K - 12, from the University of Mississippi, Teach Mississippi Institute in 2010.  I graduated from Arkansas State University in 2015 with a Master's degree in Educational Leadership.

Experience

This is my twelfth year teaching.  I taught Special Education at Hernando High School, 2009.  I then transferred to Lewisburg Primary where I taught Special Education Preschool for six years, 2010 – 2016.  I joined Pleasant Hill and began teaching Special Education Preschool from 2016 – 2018 and then Health in 2018.    My passion is teaching children and watching them grow in everything they do!  I look forward to a great year! I am proud to be a part of the Pleasant Hill family!

My husband, Michael, and I reside in Olive Branch.  We have been married for thirteen years. We have 3 dogs Daisy, Duke, and Ranger. I enjoy trout fishing, running, and spending time with family/friends.  I also love reading and sports.
