Hi, welcome to 4th grade math/science! My name is Mrs. McKenzie and this is my fourth year teaching at PHES.

A little bit about myself, I grew up in Desoto County and graduated high school from Desoto Central. I then went to get my degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi State University. I come from a big family of educators and love teaching! I have been married to my wonderful husband Kevin, for almost 3 years. We have three fur babies: Ellie, Jack, and Ruby. We spend our free time outdoors and with family. We love watching sports and are huge Grizzlies fans.

I am so excited for this school year and as we begin, I want you to know that I am looking forward to meeting everyone and building relationships with all of you. This year we are going to learn and grow together and make this year amazing!
