Education:
My name is Tiffany Lyles. I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a secondary endorsement in special education and gifted education. I am National Board Certified (2006) and have recently recertified (2016). In 2015, I was chosen as the Mississippi Agriculture Teacher of the Year because of my integration of agriculture in teaching benchmark standards.
About Me:
My name is Tiffany Lyles. This year I will be teaching 3rd grade Spotlight. This is my 20th year to have the privilege to teach in Desoto County. I have been married to my husband Terry for 32 years and we have lived in Desoto County most of our lives. I am a proud mother of four children and grandmother of four grandsons and two granddaughters. In 2006, I received my National Board Certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. I recertified for National Board in 2016. In 2015, I was awarded Mississippi Farm Bureau teacher of the year due to my efforts in integrating teaching benchmark standards through agricultural experiences. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades and am excited to teach 3rd grade Spotlight this year! My goal is to teach and challenge students using methods to satisfy all learning styles and abilities by integrating learning through agriculture and other real- life learning experiences. Basically, I love to find ways to make learning meaningful and FUN!
