I am proud to be an educator who was taught and influenced right here in Desoto County Schools by some exceptional teachers. I then went on to Harding University to receive my degree in Early Childhood Education. I married and returned to Desoto County to begin my career. I have taught with DCS for 13 years in kindergarten and first grade. I was named the 2021 Desoto County Teacher of the Year and count the honor as a true blessing! I am the mom of 2 little boys who keep me on my toes and teach me more about life, love, and patience daily. I feel richly blessed to get to do what I love daily and to be entrusted as a child's first step on their educational career!
