About Mrs. Clark

My name is Emily Clark, and I am starting my sixth year teaching! I am from Southaven, MS, where I have lived my whole life. I graduated from the University of Memphis in May 2017 with a Bachelors degree in education.

I got married in March of 2019! Jake is a youth pastor at First Baptist Olive Branch. We are super involved in our church and we LOVE it! Some of my favorite things include: my pup Parker, sports, the beach, Coke zero, and watching movies. I love spending time with my family and friends, being outside and active, and being creative! I look forward to this school year and learning all about my new students. I am blessed and so excited that I get to start my sixth year teaching in DeSoto County!

I graduated from Arkansas State with a Master's degree in education in May 2022. I also graduated from the University of Memphis in May 2017. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Prior to Memphis, I attended Mississippi State for 2 1/2 years. After deciding to transfer, I moved back home and began my journey at the U of M! My senior year at Memphis included a full year of student teaching.
